Kelly graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Science and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2005. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and became certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling in 2011. Kelly is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Kelly’s interest in the field started at a young age through her own experience as a physical therapy patient. The blend of health, sports, and activity, combined with a desire to help others, formed an ambitious therapist in an evolving field.
Kelly has experience treating an extensive variety of conditions in patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, including high school, college, recreational, and professional athletes. Throughout a patient's treatment session, Kelly emphasizes an evidence-based approach combining manual therapy techniques with functional retraining to return patients to their optimal level of function.
Kelly views medicine as a team approach between the patient, physician, therapist, and other healthcare providers to expedite a patient’s recovery.
